Zantedeschia

WABAGASA!
Finally some art with original character :D
Thanks to everybody who watched me drawing this pic on my Livestream :) well, of course if somebody watched it. X"D

When I finished drawing and turned off Livestream Procaster, there occured some system mistake on my comp D: I was scared that the file isn't saved. I just shouted "FFFUUUUUUUUUUUU I'VE BEEN DRAWING IT FOR 3 DAYS!!! I'LL CRASH YOU IF IT'S NOT SAVED!!"
But fortunately it was saved properly %)) So I hadn't re-draw it all

As you probably see, drawing this character was inspired by well-known flower named Zantedeschia. You probably know this flower as Calla. But in fact Calla is another flower. Zantedeschia is called Calla by mistake. These two kinds of flowers belong to the same family Araceae, that's why they're often confused with each other.
And I like the name Zantedeschia much more than Calla. I love how it sounds. :inlove:

Of course I made some mistakes with the structure of the flowers (from the viewpoint of biology). But it doesn't matter. I hope you still can recognise the flower.

I guess her hairstyle looks like... a kind of ice-cream, probably. %)

I guess that there're some technical problems on DevArt. I can't submit it there...

Yes, they look kinda alike. It's because they belong to the same family (Araceae or Arum family). Same as spatiphyllum, dieffenbachia, monstera, ets. Anthurium and Zantedeschia are two most well-known members of this family. The structure of their flowers is the same — small inflorescence named spadix with big white, yellow, pink or red leaf called spathe around it. =)

Ah, I get it XD Anthuriums and Zantedechias are both very beautiful  I grow some red ones at home

Agreed, anthurium looks very pretty <3. I've always loved it's outlook. We've got one at home too. =)
In my home there's a lot of flowers from Araceae family — anthurium, monstera, spatiphyllum, two aglaonemas.
